Who Are We?
The New Brunswick Curling Association, known as the N.B.C.A., consists of all members of affiliated curling clubs in New Brunswick that have been registered with the Association. The N.B.C.A. is managed by a Board of Directors known as the Executive Committee, which consists of five officers, six zone directors and five ex-officio members of the executive committee.
Objectives
The mandate of the Association is to promote the game of curling in the Province of New Brunswick; to unite all curling clubs within New Brunswick into one organization; to organize and assist in running recreational and competitive curling competitions; to establish and govern the rules and regulations for competitions within the province; to encourage the fraternal relationship with other curling associations; and to maintain affiliations with the national curling association.
What Affiliation provides for Clubs and Leagues
- participation in berth bonspiels and playdowns leading to Provincial Championships and National Championships
- rules of the game
- learn-to-curl clinics
- training equipment and resources on loan
- technical courses for coaching and instructing
- ice technician's courses
- funding/support for "Business of Curling Clinics"
- funding assistance for junior clinics
- awards for 8-enders, outstanding achievements, etc.

- Atlantic Curling Congress
Our association gratefully acknowledges the financial support of the Canadian Curling Association and the Curling Development Fund. The CCA funds this program from the profits of the Nokia Brier, Scott Tournament of Hearts and Canadian Curling Trials. |
